Fishing is the major attraction to the park and is good all year round.
Mangrove jack are prevelent during the summer months.
You can enjoy fishing either the Baffle or its tributaries for Barra, Flatties ,Bream, Grunter, Prawns and Mudcrabs or try Rules Beach for Tailor, Salmon, Bream, Whiting and Dart. Large Queenies, Trevally and Jew will also keep you occupied.
On calm days offshore rocky reef areas are accessible by small tinnie. Some are as near as 3k's from the Baffle Entrance and close to beaches. The park has its own all tide internal boat ramp for boats up to 5m.
The pristine region offers abundant and rare birdlife.
The park covers 23 acres so there is plenty of space to walk the dog. Internal walking track to the river.

Take a drive through Deepwater National Park to Agnes Water and stop off at some nice quiet beaches along the way
